Archie’s first public event and polo match with Meghan cheering daddy!

History was made for little Archie, who attended his very first public event and polo match with Meghan. The two were there to watch dad Prince Harry play against uncle Prince William at the charity event, the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day at Billingbear Polo Club in Berkshire.

The charity polo match honored Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, the owner of Leicester City soccer club who died in a helicopter crash in October 2018.

Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was a Thai billionaire businessman, and the founder, owner and chairman of King Power Duty Free. He was the owner of Premier League football club Leicester City since 2010. William played for the King Power Air Asia team, alongside Leicester City chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, while Harry joined the Tarmac team. Aiyawatt is the son of Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

Williams team won.

Meghan was joined by the Duchess of Cambridge and her three kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in support of dad William.

The game helped raise £1 million for 15 charities including Centrepoint, East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH), Family Action, Fields in Trust, The Forward Trust, London Air Ambulance, Mountain Rescue England and Wales, Tusk, Invictus Games Foundation, which was set up by Harry to help injured military personnel, and The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust..

Meghan and Harry shared an Instagram post from the day:

We also got to see the sunscreen she uses to keep her family safe in the sunshine. On some of the photos you can spot a bottle of Nivea’s Sun Protect & Moisture SPF Spray in the background.

The affordable sunscreen only costs £7 and offers broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection that guards against burning and the sun damage. It was a very sunny day, so of course she needed a sunscreen for Archie!

It’s not the first time that Meghan has expressed her love for high-street products. Back when she was starring as Rachel Zane in Suits, she recommended Nivea’s Q10 Body Lotion, as her bodycare essential.

Meghan’s outfit was casual for a day at polo match! She was wearing the khaki green Rossetta V Neck Linen Midi Dress by Lisa Marie Fernandez

To protect her eyes from the sun she wore a pair of Stella McCartney’s Square ‘Aviator’ Sunglasses

And a pair of Brother Vellies ‘Huaraches’ flats

A lovely sunny day for the royal family!
